Belinda Del Pesco has been an artist all her life. Raised in a family of immigre' artists and inventors, her creative expression was encouraged and flavored by influences from Italy, France, England, and Canada. After earning a degree at the University of Massachusetts, she headed west to capture the crisp light of California sunshine on Pacific and Central Coast landscapes.
Belinda works within the classical tradition of landscape, figure and still life painting. She is an active member of The California Art Club, The National Watercolor Association, and The American Society of Classical Realism. She has won numerous awards and commissions, and her paintings are in corporate and private collections in Europe, Asia, South America, and The United States.
A love for travel and nature are evident in Belinda's art. A lifelong fascination with the geographic and seasonal changes in natural light has been a constant source of inspiration. These ingredients, combined with her affinity for the artistic traditions of the late 19th and early 20th century, create a spirited appetite to paint insightful interpretations of what she sees everyday. |
